Art Shape & Artlift are seeking artists with diverse skills and backgrounds!

by | Jul 6, 2021 | News

Artlift and Art Shape share a determined commitment to diversify our offer and address gaps in provision, for example more course content grounded in African, Caribbean and/or Asian cultural heritage.

We aim to broaden the cultural and lived experience within our teams, to strengthen interface with a greater diversity of people in the county living with health challenges.

Whilst it’d be great if you bring experience in the Creative Health sector, that’s not necessary. If you have the right skills and attributes, you’ll receive tailored induction, training and support so you can confidently facilitate sessions that impact positively on participants’ health.

This is an exciting time to join the partners. Artlift is one of the longest-running Arts on Prescription providers in the UK, with a commitment to reflective practice grounded in one of the largest known bodies of Arts & Wellbeing data in the world.

Art Shape has been bringing down barriers to arts engagement across Gloucestershire for approaching 30 years and is prime NHS Glos CCG contractor for the Gloucestershire Creative Health Consortium
