Artlift courses for health and wellbeing are for people aged 18 and over who would like to use creativity to support their mental health and wellbeing, be that chronic pain, depression and anxiety, cancer support or covid-19 recovery or related difficulties.

Our exciting, creative 10 week courses are free, and consist of live artist led zoom sessions, creative worksheets and guidance, along with a dedicated participant area on the website. They offer the opportunity to explore a variety of art, craft and creative writing techniques in a relaxed setting at a pace that suits each individual, enabling them to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of creativity whilst developing the skills to use the arts to support health and wellbeing longer term.

All of the sessions are hosted by local practising artists who are trained and specialise in sharing and delivering creative arts courses that improve health and wellbeing. Participants don’t need to be artistic as Artlift courses are suitable for absolute beginners and those with more experience. Last year 82% of people that attended an Artlift course reported a significant improvement in their mental wellbeing.
