Bring your invaluable skills, expertise and/or lived experience to take this pioneering Creative Health charity into the next phase of its development.
We are keen to strengthen our Board of Trustees by bringing new, diverse voices to the table. We would be especially excited to receive applications from potential Trustees who address gaps on our Board, in particular:
- People with an African or Caribbean ethnic background
- Young adults under 30
- A finance professional interested in the role of Treasurer
- Professionals with legal, fundraising, HR, marketing and/or digital experience
Artlift welcomes applications from all sectors of society including those who do not have prior experience of being a Trustee. We will provide full induction and ongoing training and mentoring to those new to the role.
You will be joining and supported by a small, dedicated Board of six who work across the health, charity, health, adult education, and cultural sectors.
Artlift Trustees attend 4 Board meetings per annum, some taking on additional responsibility such as becoming a lead contact for Safeguarding. Some also join Co-production groups to work alongside experts by experience, artists, key stakeholders, and clinicians to develop and hone Artlift’s programmes and services. Occasionally, sub-committees and working parties are established to push forwards specific areas of work.
