We are seeking a highly organised Freelance Programme Assistant – an experienced administrator confident in communicating sensitively and effectively with a wide diversity of people.
You will work, mostly remotely, with our small, friendly part-time managerial team and inspiring Creative Health specialist artists.
You will play a pivotal role in the smooth administration of our Arts on Prescription services, which benefit adults with mental and/or physical health challenges across Gloucestershire.
The Programme Assistant role is also key in management and analysis of data. With partners, including Glos NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, Glos Creative Health Consortium, University of Glos and Cardiff Met University, this enables Artlift to positively impact the broader sector.
The main responsibilities include referrals processing, supporting access to and administration of the programmes, and data management. You’ll also support with research, evaluation, and promotion.
This is an exciting time to join a recognised and trusted pioneer in Creative Health as our programmes, partnerships and projects develop. For example, in addition to our main Arts on Prescription offer, we are now promoting Workplace Wellbeing packages and are about to launch a pilot magazine featuring work by people living with or beyond cancer.
We are looking for someone who can co-work / attend meetings in or around Gloucester; ideally starting in July / August 2022, joining us 12 days per month until March 2023. Hours can be worked flexibly; candidates should be aware that they may need to flex hours up and down at different points in the year.
There is scope for increased hours and/or extension to contract subject to funding and mutual agreement.
Please note that Artlift is committed to diversity and equal opportunities. We are working to broaden our workforce talent pool and participant reach to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We would therefore very much welcome applications from candidates from minority ethnic communities and/or with lived experience of disability.
The closing date for applications is 12pm on Monday 20 June and we aim to hold interviews on Thursday 23 June, albeit we may be able to arrange an alternative day if this isn’t feasible for you.
