Join us at Oxstalls campus, The University of Glos, for this engaging and unique course that has been shaped by and for adults from ethnically minoritised communities. Our Artist Facilitator Ronnie McGrath will co-facilitate alongside members of the Diverse Ethnic Research Alliance, who are representative of Gloucestershire’s diverse communities.
This course combines creative activities with a chance to talk about and explore identity as well as the challenges and joys in our lives.
You’ll get a chance to play with words and images, as well as to enjoy movement and music. You may also want to share emblems of identity and your own important stories.
Each participant will be offered a mentor who understands diverse ethnic representation who can guide you through and beyond the course, including signposting to other opportunities.
Past participants have commented on having enjoyed the diversity of the group and of the activities, as well as the welcoming, friendly and non-judgemental atmosphere, with some fun and laughs, as well as deeper thought and expression. There will also be tea, coffee and snacks!
